Amy Novak
Manager, Climate Accounting and Standards, World Business Council for Sustainable Development
Amy Novak is a Manager, Climate Accounting and Standards at the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD). Amy is part of the WBCSD’s Climate Action team and largely focused on work with the GHG Protocol. Amy’s experience lies in sustainability reporting and assurance. Prior to joining the WBCSD, she worked as a Principal in the research and guidance group at the Chartered Professional Accountants (CPA) Canada. In this role, she developed guidance and thought leadership and conducted stakeholder outreach related to current and emerging areas of focus in the sustainability landscape.
Amy also worked in the audit and assurance practice at EY in Calgary, Canada and Sydney, Australia. She worked with public and private clients in a variety of sectors. Amy holds a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation, Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Credential from the IFRS Foundation, and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of Calgary.
