Senior Director of Climate Strategy, The LEGO Group
Stuart Jefford is Senior Director of Climate Strategy at the LEGO Group, where he leads delivery of the company’s net zero strategy. He previously served in a number of climate policymaking roles in the UK Government, including as Head of Climate Policy at HM Treasury, and Head of the COP26 Private Finance team during the UK’s COP Presidency. Prior to this, Stuart was a sustainability & climate change advisor at PwC. He has contributed to various publications on GHG and sustainability accounting, and impact assessment, including for the British Standards Institute (BSI), World Bank, Social Value International and UK Government. He holds master’s degrees in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London and in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge, and is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales.
