Please join the World Resources Institute and World Wildlife Fund for a training workshop and discussion especially designed for our NGO colleagues. On December 13th-14th, you will have the opportunity to receive training on the new GHG Protocol Corporate Value Chain (Scope 3) and Product Life Cycle Accounting and Reporting Standards. On the 15th, we will explore some additional sustainability assessment methodologies and tools including Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), ecosystem services, and water risk assessment and footprinting. Along with an introduction to each, we will have the opportunity to discuss the pros and cons of different tools and identify what gaps still exist in sustainability assessment. **What is the goal of this workshop?**

• Learn about the new GHG Protocol standards so you can understand product , corporate, and value chain GHG inventory reports and even perform assessments on your own operations
• Offer an introduction to LCA, Ecosystem Services and other sustainability assessment methods
• Give greater insight into sustainability assessment tools, how they can be applied to your work and the gaps in methods that don’t sufficiently address the myriad of environmental issues
• Share lessons learned on experiences with these tools Who should attend?

This workshop is open to any NGO interested in training on the GHG Protocol Standards, introductory training on LCA, Ecosystem Services and other assessment methods, or attending a discussion on sustainability assessment tools. Previous knowledge or understanding of the subjects is not necessary. Invitations are transferable to other NGO colleagues, but space is limited. Depending on the level of interest, we may ask organizations to limit their attendance to one or two representatives. **What is the cost?** There is no fee to attend the workshop. **When and Where?** The workshop will be held at the World Resources Institute offices in Washington, DC.
