Former student of the Institute for Political Studies of Grenoble and from the French School of Administration (ENA, Romain Gary), Julia Maris began her career in the French administration focusing on international and European cooperation in the field of security and development.
In 2007, she joined the Presidency of the Republic drafting the White Paper on National Security. She was then appointed as Marketing and business Development Director of DCI.
In May 2012, she was appointed Advisor for European Affairs in the Cabinet of Minister Jean-Yves Le Drian, then joined Thales Alenia Space before being called back to DCI in 2014 as Deputy CEO. In 2019, she joined the ENGIE.
Julia is as well Co-Chair of the Energy Commission of MEDEF (National confederation of French companies) and Vice-Chair of the Environment and Energy Commission of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC).
