Scope 3 Manager
Luke Jones is a Scope 3 Manager at WBCSD, where he supports the development of updates and additional guidance for the Greenhouse Gas Protocol Scope 3 Standard. Prior to joining WBCSD in January 2026, Luke worked across environmental consultancies and climate software companies as a greenhouse gas accounting specialist. His experience includes contributing to the UK’s national greenhouse gas inventory, developing private‑sector inventories, and helping design carbon accounting software. He has been nominated to the UNFCCC’s Roster of Experts and has served on technical working groups for the development of similar standards. Luke holds an MSc in Earth Sciences from the University of Oxford.
