Learning Management Specialist
Marhaennia English (Nia) is a Learning Management Specialist in the Greenhouse Gas Protocol. She will be the main point of contact for learners and administrators of the learning technology, as well as collaborating with the team on improvement initiatives.
Before joining GHG Protocol, Nia was at the Institute for Capacity Development Strategy and Evaluation at the International Monetary Fund, where she assisted global users, managed user accounts, and set up assessments and reports in their learning management system. In addition, she co-organized departmental seminars and the IMF Management Capacity Development Forum quarterly event and managed content flow and accuracy on various platforms.
Nia lives in Gaithersburg, MD, with her husband, three children, and two dogs. She is a lifelong learner and an active volunteer as ways to give back to the community. In her free time, Nia enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants, traveling, and watching foreign movies and TV shows.
