Adrianne Gilbride
Manager, Built on GHG Protocol, Greenhouse Gas Protocol, World Business Council for Sustainable Development
Adrianne Gilbride joins WBCSD as Manager, Built on GHG Protocol, where she is responsible for developing and implementing the Built on GHG Protocol strategy within Support Services.
Prior to joining WBCSD, Adrianne spent 20 years working predominately in corporate and consulting environments building sustainability programs and managing environmental assessments in Canada, Vietnam and Switzerland. In her previous roles, Adrianne has built climate and social impact programs and led teams at two fast-growing outdoor and running brands. Prior to this, she managed multiple environmental impact assessments including two studies involving the clean up of the Agent Orange contamination in Vietnam and more than a dozen studies for proposed run-of-river hydro projects in western Canada.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in environmental engineering, a Bachelor of Arts in political science and in 2014 she completed a multi-disciplinary Masters of Science in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability (affiliated with the Natural Step Foundation). Adrianne is passionate about systems change, participatory leadership and the interdependence of environmental and social sustainability.
