Michaela is the Mitigation Impact Accounting Manager with the Greenhouse Gas Protocol at WRI. She co-leads the market-based accounting workstream, contributing to standards development and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to joining WRI, Michaela developed carbon accounting and sustainability programs in both the carbon removal and food & beverage sectors. She has an educational background in chemical engineering and currently lives in Washington State with her dog, Ranger, and a growing flock of chickens.
