Born in Seoul, educated in both Korea and the UK, Inhee is a seasoned environmental, climate and sustainability specialist, with an interdisciplinary academic background covering science, engineering, environmental economics and policy.
Over the past 20+ years, Inhee has gained multidirectional insights and perspectives on climate action and sustainability issues from both private and public sectors, thanks to her professional experience with a global sustainability consulting firm (ERM- Environmental Resources Management), a multinational chemical company (LG Chem), and international organizations such as the UN Environment Program (UNEP) and the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI). Inhee is currently with the Corporate Sustainability Center at Samsung Electronics spearheading corporate-wide climate and sustainability initiatives, with particular focus on value chain decarbonization, resource circularity, ESG performance disclosure, as well as managing stakeholder relations and building global partnerships.
