Global Purchasing Environmental Sustainability Director at Dow
Suzanne Greene is the Global Purchasing Environmental Sustainability Director and Scope 3 Subject Matter Expert at Dow, where she activates the global supply chain to drive meaningful environmental change and advances transparent and accurate Scope 3 accounting. Previously, she co-founded and managed the Sustainable Supply Chains Lab and led the Metals, Minerals, and the Environment program at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), advancing research on low-carbon, circular supply chains and sustainable mining practices. Suzanne has contributed to numerous publications on carbon accounting, climate target-setting, and market-based mechanisms, including the Global Logistics Emissions Council Framework, which became ISO standard 14083 in 2023. She serves on various sustainability-related advisory councils, including with DHL and Smart Freight Centre, and holds degrees in environmental science from the University of New Hampshire and the University of Zürich.
