Steve is a GHG Protocol Secondee and a Senior Manager in Deloitte’s Sustainability & ESG Services practice with more than 10 years of professional experience in sustainability strategy development, climate risk management, GHG emissions analysis, target setting, decarbonization planning, technical ESG reporting and assurance services. He has worked across a broad range of public and private sector institutions, with notable subject matter experience in the Power & Utility, Transportation, Chemical, Automotive, Financial Services, Media and Technology sectors.
He has experience leading and delivering sustainability and ESG engagements for many large F500 companies, including performing Scope 1, 2 and 3 GHG inventory accounting, ESG materiality assessments and reporting for public disclosure frameworks (SASB, GRI, CDP, DJSI), and advising clients in preparation for regulatory reporting and assurance requirements (SEC, CSRD, ISSB). His experience includes delivering climate risk management, scenario analysis and climate-related financial disclosure (TCFD) strategy services. He also advises clients developing SBTi-approved corporate reduction goals, including implementation of Net-Zero reduction strategies and roadmaps.
Steve holds a M.S. in Accounting from Northeastern University and a B.S. in Accounting from the University of Rhode Island. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) licensed in Massachusetts, holds the Fundamentals of Sustainability Accounting (FSA) Certification from the IFRS Foundation and is the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for the Epilepsy Foundation of New England.
