Corporate Suite of Standards Technical Working Groups Formation Update
Right now, GHG Protocol is working to seat initial members of the Steering Committee, who in turn will appoint initial members to the Independent Standards Board (ISB). Once seated, ISB members will approve the Technical Working Groups’ Terms of Reference and membership.
The GHG Protocol Secretariat aims to contact Technical Working Group applicants with a communication on membership decisions in July. For those who are selected, we will follow up with the next steps in the process, including details about the first TWG meetings to happen shortly thereafter. All applicants who are not selected for Technical Working Group membership will be invited to provide feedback on the draft standards via our public consultation process in 2025. Please note that GHG Protocol is continuing to accept Technical Working Group (TWG) applications on a rolling basis.
Update: Please note GHG Protocol is accepting applications for Technical Working Groups until January 15, 2025. Please use this form to apply, after January 15 the form will be closed. |

GHG Protocol Strategy Retreat
This month, the GHG Protocol Secretariat hosted a strategy retreat in Washington, DC. The retreat provided a valuable opportunity for the full global team to meet in person and discuss our collective goals. A key focus of the retreat was to discuss this year’s critical milestones and how to ensure successful implementation across workstreams.
